Are You A Weakling?

Are You A Weakling?

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. – 2 Corinthians 12:9

God’s power is made perfect in our weakness.

If this Scripture is true, and we know it is, then God’s power much be radiating with strength in my life.  I am the definition of weakness.  I have been the person who stayed stuck in her comfort zone.  I had been the person who let her anxiety disorder rule her life.  I am the person who everyone calls strong because she packed up two suitcases and moved 700 miles away from her family and friends.  Every day I wonder if I made the right decision.

God has healed me of the anxiety disorder.  I am still in the process of saying yes to the good, scary things and no to the bad, comfortable things.

I know, though, that my God is strong throughout the process of working through the weakness in me.  That is somehow comforting, don’t you think?
