What Are You Magnifying?

O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. – Psalm 34:3 (KJV).

Going through issues in your life?  Have long-standing problems that won’t seem to go away?

Magnify the Lord.

Have a rebellious child?  A cheating spouse?

Magnify the Lord.

Dealing with a long-term illness?  Taking care of a parent or special-needs child?

Magnify the Lord.

In every circumstance, we need to magnify the Lord.

We can focus on all the negatives in our lives, or we can choose to focus on magnifying our God.

When we magnify how great our God is, when we focus on what He has done for us, what He is doing and what His Word promises He will do, our perspective changes.

When we focus on His goodness, His mercy and His grace, our attitude changes, our thinking changes and solutions start to come to us.

Where will you put your focus?  Will you meditate on the bad in the situation and how big your problems are?

Or will you meditate on how big our God is?
